Another REMBA Trail Day on June 24th!

To help protect the trails we love, REMBA is calling all mountain bikers to join in on the 4th Saturday every month (June 24th) for trail work days at Trione-Annadel State Park.

We’ll be working on Spring Creek near Lake Ilsanjo. Riding in encouraged, but please bring work clothes to change into (riding clothes are only marginally functional). Meet at 9 am at the Vietnam Vets Memorial Trail at 4776 Carissa Avenue. Look for the white Sonoma County Trails Council tool trailer. We will provide tools and Clif bars with snacks and beverages afterwards. Bring: Work clothing that can get muddy, gloves, and sturdy shoes. A lunch & water that you can take with you while working. Expect to wrap up around 1 pm. No experience necessary – we have trained crew leaders with tasks for all strengths and sizes of volunteers. In order to make sure we have enough tools and after-work beverages reply to if you plan to attend.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact Ken Wells with the Sonoma County Trails Council at 538-9389 or Andrew Brooks, REMBA Trail Team Lead,, 342-1659. If you are interested in becoming a trail crew leader please contact Andrew for more information.
