Napa County Call to Action : Yes on Measure Z

img_20160110_081214Hey all –

Just a short note to ask your support for measure Z: the Napa county Parks and Open Space district has been very busy since its inception after being voted into existence back in 2006 (thanks, electorate!).  They’ve been steadily acquiring lands, taking over management of existing open spaces, and developing trails as fast as they’ve been able in the short time they’ve been around.  They’re also very bicycle-friendly and keen to make things as good as possible for the mountain bike community.  Measure Z gives them an operating budget to match their enthusiasm and it’ll mean the world for new trails (especially bike-friendly trails) and level-headed management of open space in Napa county. Please, give measure Z your vote in November. If you want to help the campaign to get measure z passed considering joining the campaign staff and volunteers for one of their precinct walks.

The first precinct walk is this Saturday in the City of Napa. Meet at Fuller park at 9 am for coffee and bagels and a very brief training talk before knocking on doors. We also have a precinct walk on the 17th planned in American Canyon, though the details are still coming together. If you want more details head over to Yes on Measure Z website or email Peter Vander Horn (vanderhornp@gmail.com) the campaign director.
Happy Trails,
