People often think of participating in a sport as running faster, riding harder, getting out and training or doing an activity regularly. That’s a big part of being good at the activity you’re passionate about. Being involved in the aspects that make your pursuit possible are just as important and satisfying.
Working on trails, writing grants, training and working with young athletes, putting on an event, giving back to the community that provides the places and people that make your passion possible – these are the aspects of sport often neglected in the pursuit of self-improvement or entertainment.
REMBA is giving us all an opportunity and forum to engage these aspects of mountain biking and make it fun at the same time. Sounds like a win for everyone who jumps in where, how and when they can.
